EPS has taken over $400 from my bank account since Nov. despite the fact they have no legal RIGHT to that money & have provided NO SERVICE to me at any time. ONLY DIS-SERVICE!
Mid Oct I signed contract with EPS since it was the ONLY way to get their salesman to leave my home. I then promptly notified them via phone call & registered mail that I intended to cancel the contract per Colorado's 3-day right to rescind law when a salesman in your home.
I stated I did not want their services & to cancel the install order for the next day, Saturday, when they were scheduled to bring me the equipment necessary to use their service.
They did not showup Sat & do the install & I never used any of their services. I assumed all was well till money started coming out of my bank acct.
Between Nov04 and Dec05, a total of $409.95 was taken out of my checking.
I first contacted my bank who gave me a phone number turning out to be Merrick Bank who pointed me to EPS at 1-800-863-5995.
I spoke with several clerks & have faxed SEVERAL copies of my bank statements. Eventually I was directed to Shandra Pearson, the customer service manager, who assured me all would be taken care of.
A year had passed from the time I let that jerk salesman in my house & I still didn't have my money back. I don't know WHO I spoke with last but the story I was told was: 2 check requests had gone to accounting for my money, & both had gone unanswered. I was again directed to Shandra & over the next few weeks I left NUMEROUS voice mails with my name & phone number... All went unanswered.
My phone number can be used by EPS to find me in their system and all the clerks I speak with can see in their system where I am due this money, where they have requested it, but for some reason can't get it for me. The last people I spoke with directed me to the office of the agent who refused to take NO for an answer & who wouldn't leave my home till I signed. I called & again was assured I would have a check within 30 days. HA!
I don't even know the agents name because when he left that day he left me NOTHING! Not a copy of the contract I had just signed... Nothing... Not even his business card.
I have spent MANY hours trying to get my money back & am NOT going to give up. I will get LOUDER if anything!
EPS has demontrated the WORST customer service I have EVER ENCOUNTERED, by far, and I'm nearly 50 years old.
The salesman lied repeatedly to me. I tried to confirm some things on the phone while he was here, but was unable to get through to necessary parties at that time.
If you need payment processing for your website, try COSTCO... It is much cheaper & I'm sure they don't lie to you like the EPS salesman did to me.in any case, I cancelled the contract as the attorney general's office instructed me to do, and I need my $410 back. I would LOVE to get some money for my time as well, but for now would be very happy to get the $410!
