Canceled Sprint long distance service 3 years ago to change to a local provider... Charges disappeared from my bill for a couple of months, didn't notice they had reappeared (our phone bills are very hard to decipher) and was being charged $15 per month for nearly 3 yerars for service they were not providing.
Found out after requesting a review of my phone bill with my local provider. Local provider said that we were probably 'slammed' and it didn't get caught because they simply list charges from other vendors on their bills — not question them.
Sent a letter to Sprint requesting canceling the 'slam' and returning $15 for each of 36 months of billing. They said that they canceled the account, but completely ignored even addressing the refund.
