I replied to an ad for Wentworth Marketing in my local paper online (AJC) and decided to place an application. I was contacted by Wentworth Marketing via my email after a few days of submitting an application through their web site. I did not respond then their recruiter called my home. She scheduled an interview for me the next day.
I went in for the interview and everything went very well and the people were extremely nice. The interview only lasted about 15-20 minutes. During that time I was informed that they were an outsourced firm of Bell South and the primary goal was to retain current clients and sales would be involved for a few months before moving to the next phase of the management trainee program. After the interview I was informed by my interviewer (Scott) that they would be calling selected candidates between 4pm-5pm that afternoon to schedule a second interview.
Well, I did receive a call to come in the next day for a 9am-5pm follow up interview! Needless to say I felt that this was extremely unprofessional (no scheduling involved) and basically if you could not make it, for this full day work schedule "interview", that's it. I had scheduled another interview for the following day and was not able to attend.
He said that if the position was still available that I would get a call back. I never did. I then found all the negative reports here that affirmed what my gut feeling was. This was an elaborate scam and an enormous waste of my time. I am so greatful that this site exist! Please don't waste your time.
