I received a letter yesterday from a law office on behalf of NCO/SEARS. This cc account/debt is about 8 or 9 years old and I've heard the statute of limitations on this type of thing is 7 yrs. So I'm not sure if I have a leg to stand on here and would like some more information on how to handle this. I had less than 30 days to reply to the summons so any help would be appreciated.
