Ripoff dishonest and fraudulent billing

I was a former AT&T customer that transferred my account to Cingular Cellular in December. I transferred 5 phones on two separate accounts. The nightmare began. I was continually over charged for downloads on my phone. The problem was on this phone I could never access the internet. I repeatedly called to report this problem. I was told that the phone was confused with the same number but with the area code of 509 instead of 208. Someone was hacking into my phone and charging the downloads to my phone #. Cingular was notified repeatedly that there was a problem. I went from customer service to supervisors to the fraud department. Not one thing was done. My cell phone was forwarded to a church, my online account password number was changed and I could here the other parties conversations on my phone. This matter of someone using my last four digits of my social security number did not bother anyone at Cingular. They said that this kind of fraud was totally impossible, yet it was happening to my phone and account.

Everytime I called back to get these huge charges removed they did not have any notes on my complaints about the problem. They finally changed the phone numbers on the account. This still did not fix the problem because who ever was doing this evil deed had access to my personal information. They even used my grandson's name as my password. This is something I would never do and have never done. No one who knows me knows my social security number or my account numbers. They were listening to phone calls and got my grandson's name. Cingular still insisted that this could not happen. The new phone #'s were also being accessed and downloads were being put on my phone number. I insisted that they should change the account # which they never did. I could not access the internet from my phone but still had downloads daily. I was on the phone with a Cingular customer service rep and he watched someone downloading from my phone #. How could this be when I was on the phone with Cingular. The customer service representive said he notified all of the companies permitting these downloads and supposedly had them stopped.

This did not solve any problems. After some credit adjustments which I was never told what they adjusted, the next month it would be charged up again. To sum up the problems after hours on the phone to cingular sometimes 2 hours at a time, my phones were discounected by Cingular on January 29th or January 30th and the phones had phone calls on them even after they were disconnected by Cingular. At first they said if I payed 924.46 on my phones they wouldn't turn off my other phones. My other account was always paid on time and the 3 phones on that account number were always current. Then I was turned over to a new representative. She said I had to pay the $924.46 and after adjustments I would owe 159.00 on my final bill. Well yesterday I received my final bill and it is for 400.00 again.
They are charging me for disconnecting the phones for early termination. I didn't disconnect the phones they did. They wouldn't work to get this problem solved and I was repeatedly lied to and deceived by all the workers at Cingular. I can't even imagine how many people they have ripped off who just pays their bill and doesn't look at all the charges. You know there are thousands of people. The end result has been a nightmare and I never had a problem with any cellular company after 12 years of cellular service with other companies. I know they are getting alot of money by fraudulent billing practices and then not doing anything about the problem. I will pursue this problem if it takes me forever because it is just wrong.

You can't believe anything they tell you and they lie and say they are documenting your file. I guess someone pretends they are typing when you talk to them. They told me it was proably someone next to them typing. My contract is up this year in December with my existing account. When I called and told them the piece of shit phones they gave us free for the 2 year service contract had to be returned 3 times they suggested I renew my service contract and get other phones. Why should I do this when they are the cellular phone company from HELL!!!
