Fat Burn 2 - E Curves - E Fitness - Hoodia - Lean Life Pm
Ripoff cancel your atm/credit card now! They are scam artists and will rip you off!

I ordered the "free" supply of fat burn 2 for $1.99 s/h. Exactly a week later, I decided to cancel even though I hadn't received my "free" supply yet (I was feeling uneasy about the whole thing). I tried to cancel by email but their customer service link was not accessible.

So then I tried their customer service number - 866-370-7271. It was a Sunday (my day off) and I spent over 5 hours times six phone calls to get through. Some of the calls were over an hour! The automated system tells you you are #_ and to please be patient. Then when you get down to #2 or #4 the phone hangs up. I was fuming!

This actually saved me from being ripped off. Why? Because by keeping me on hold for what seemed like eternity, I was doing research on the internet as I was on hold (trying to get another number or something). I ended up finding this website. As I read the dozens of complaints against this company (and their many other names) I knew this was a scam and I was about to be ripped off.

Reading other peoples complaints, proved to me that this company is set up to deceive people w / their "terms and conditions" and jump through humps cancellation process. For those who read this and do not know, if you signed up for a "free trial" you are actually signing up for an auto-ship program. It looks like you signed up for a "free" supply and have two weeks to try their product, but you actually agree to the auto-ship instantly. You cannot cancel until after the first shipment (which is not you free supply). You get charged a bloated price of around $100 dollars. You are also signed up for another membership called "e curves or e fitness". Most people do not realize this when they sign up for the "free" supply.

If you are lucky enough to get through to the diet pill part of this scheme and cancel, they will not tell you you are not cancelled from the other membership which is an "fitness club". This other membership (ecurves/efitness) is for a two week "trial" as well. If you do not cancel you will get charged about $6/week. It is buried in the original "terms and conditions" when you sign up for the "free" diet pills. Not only is this deceptive, but how they get you is they will not send you anything (you are suppose to get an id/password for their website). Almost everyone finds out about this other membership they "signed" up for when they get charged for a full months membership.

To cancel from this, you cannot cancel from their website (because you have to have your id/password. You have to call 800-757-1279 which is also almost impossible to get through. Be aware though because when you cancel they will make it look like you cancelled. They will "forget" to give you your id/password which you actually need because the actual way to give them an official cancellation notice is through their website.

Other deceptive tactics (from what I read) is that when you call FatBurn2 (aka other names) and cancel, they will most likely charge your card at least once or twice more. They do this because they will not give you a confirmation number that you cancelled therefore unable to prove it. If you cancelled by email, they will state they did not receive it, and they will not return voicemails. They will not accept returned products.

After wasting almost a whole day, I finally said screw this! I knew that even if I got through to these rip-off artists, I could not trust that I would not be charged after the fact based on everything I read. I decided not to waste anymore time and energy getting through to both companies to cancel (By the way the fitness club number is M-F only). My time and money are precious. I could not get through to my bank since it was Sunday so I called the back of my card and reported it stolen. I was honest with them. I told them I had the physical card but my account info was stolen. Do not tell your bank to not accept transactions from this company because they use different names and different tactics and will still probably be able to get a transaction through (from what I read).

Call and cancel your ATM/credit card now. Even if you have already been taken for by these crooks, prevent them from charging again and still having your info. If you have not been charged yet, I hope my report helps. It certainly helped me when I read other horror stories.

If you want more info, do a search under this website under the names Fat Burn 2, Hoodia, Lean Life PM, E Curves, E Fitness. There are probably more but this is all I know of. At first, I only had a few because I was searching under a specific company name but all the stories are very similar and these companies are actually one and the same.

Thanks to those I have read that have already pursued this legally with the police, BBB, federal, news, etc. Hopefully they will get shut down soon and put in jail and have to pay back everyone who has been ripped off.

Sorry for this being such a long report but I hope this will help someone from losing hundreds of dollars and a ton of time. Even though I only got scammed ($1.99) since I was able to discover the scam before they charged me, it was worth the time to write this to forewarn others.
