Bekins provides a "guaranteed price." According to the Interstate Order for Service form, the "guaranteed price can only change if customer makes changes to the shipment." However, Bekins added $65.80 to the "guaranteed price, " and then insisted upon full payment (plus overage of $65.80) or I would not receive my household belongings.
I've called the agent at Bekins Moving and Storage, Steve Wooten, who has 1) assured me that he would investigate and speak with his regional manager, then 2) send me a refund, and then 3) forgot about the issue, and would look into it. I have to doubt that he is doing anything at his end to rectify the situation.
This "guaranteed price" is a scam and a rip-off.
