Fraudulent roaming charges, misrepresentation of Free and Clear. I will be suing them... Anyone considering class action Ripoff

I switched my hard line home phone to Sprint cellular service in December of choosing Sprint/Nextel primarily because they offer free incoming calls.in the process of researching my choice, I questioned the representative from several different angles to determine under what circumstances I might be billed for additional services or minutes.

The result of this research lead me to believe that the only way I could be billed for extra minutes was to exceed my monthly allocation of 300 minutes. When I got my first billing, there was an error of approximately $150, which they took care of promptly. There was also a roaming charge of $3.50 on the first bill, which I questioned but paid. At that point, I was *very* careful not to make or accept calls that showed 'Roaming Charges'.

In the bill I just received, there was a $46 charge for roaming charges. Sprint customer service agreed to remove 1/2 the charges, and I told them that I felt I was owed 'Free and Clear' service of $5/month, gratis, for the duration of my 2 year contract with them. They refused to agree to this, and I will be filing suit against them here in Connnecticut, to see if I can get a court to agree with me.

It's not an issue of whether I can afford $5 a month. My issue is that Sprint misrepresented their call plan, and didn't describe their 'Free and Clear' plan at the time I subscribed so that I could make an informed choise. I added 'Free and Clear' to my monthly billing now, and have paid the bills, because I'm not going to ruin my credit for these fools. If anyone has similar experiences, feel free to contact me. We can determine which approaches to Sprint's fraud get results, and which ones don't.

Thanks for listening.
