I purchased a skin care kit from Exposed Skin Care because they claimed to offer a 30 day money back guarantee. I decided to return the product (I have no major complaint about the product itself) within that timeframe, and expected my refund within 14 days as their return form states.
They received my returned product on 12-12-05 per the delivery confirmation receipt from the post office. As of today, 1-5-06, I still have not received my refund. Worse yet, all of my attempts to contact Exposed (via phone and e-mail) have been ignored.
I have filed complaints with the both the BBB and Attorney General's office in Washington, and also with the FTC. I am posting to this site because I see that Exposed actually does respond to messages here and I am hoping that Marc will respond and process my refund promptly.
I find it interesting that in previous rebuttals to postings here, that Exposed makes it sound like they don't get many returns and that their process is quick and simple. Yet, everyone seems to have the same problem with this company. Other sites I have found have countless complaints just like mine.
I am totally disgusted with Exposed Skin Care - not the product, but their total disregard for their customers. This is the most blatant case of consumer fraud I have ever encountered. I will pursue this until I get the refund they guaranteed, and make sure that I let as many people as possible know to avoid doing business with this company at all costs. No product or service is worth this kind of aggrevation.
So, Marc, will you please honor the money back guarantee and refund my $59.95?
