RIPOFF stole money from us

We have been members of SMC for years. They stopped sending us renewal notices and I finally called to see why we weren't receiving catalogs or notices and they told us we were overdue! I said I would pay it but I wouldn't pay the overdue fees because it was their negligence in not telling us. Finally the manager agreed and told us to just pay the $29.95 and told us our catalogs would arrive in 3 weeks.

Three weeks went by and nothing arrived. I called again and they said we still owed the overdue charges. They closed our account. I told them what had happened three weeks before and after much arguing they finally agreed to keep their word and send out the catalogs by the end of three weeks.

Again we were LIED to and never received anything. I called a third time, explained the situation and told them I wanted the $29.95 back that we paid and got nothing for. The employee refused. I told her she was stealing as I was promised a product and never received it. I spoke with the manager who also refused to refund the money to us. I informed her that she was committing theft and she did not care.

She told me I would receive more catalogs in January. I told her I did NOT WANT more catalogs, I just want my money back because I was LIED TO TWICE. She refused.

Do not deal with SMC! All this happened after being on hold for 30 minutes! Argh.
