Ripoff useless and worthless customer service

It is just disgusting that I placed an order for a few Christmas gifts online on 12-5-05. On 12-9 I received notification that the package was shipped via UPS 2nd day air.

On 12-15 I called to see where the package was since the UPS web site showed "billing info received" but no other tracking info. UPS says that Kohls never actually shipped the package therefore it can't be trakced.

I called Kohls and the customer service department said they would put a tracer on it and they wouldn't have any more info for about 10 business days... I advised that these were Christmas gifts and that there is only 6 business days before Christmas.

I asked if I should re-order them on-line and the service rep said no need to that they would be sure I received the items by Christmas, I advised them that I needed them by the 19th so I could ship them up to relatives in Illinois (that's why I ordered the stuff on the 5th... Thinking it would be here by the 14th or so).

I inquired again on the 19th and was advised they had received no word yet form UPS (duhhhh, remember the package never actually left Kohls). The best part is they had already CHARGED my charge account and won't issue a credit til they here back from UPS... No offer to send the stuff I had actually ordered.

Since I had ordered other things from them this month I am packing it all back up and sending it all back for credit and am getting everything at JCPenney instead.
