Before the moved we attempted and believed we'd achieved making a responsible consumer decision by checking the company's credentials with FMCSA, AMSA, CMSA and BBB on the online inquiry systems available to us. We perceived no red flags. We also visited the company and thought we were making a good choice. We have worked long and hard to obtain the items we own, and had no intentions of repurchasing these large expensive items. This is why we set out to hire professionals who would take care of our belongings as well as us. We would have expected some minor damage but this is beyond words.
It is truly heart breaking that we paid so much money to have our belongings destroyed and now to live in fear that we may not recover a respectable compensation. We feel so victimized (twice). Over 12 large furniture items were damaged, some completely destoryed, and many boxed bubbled and foam wraped glass items were broken the boxes were crashed, so many things cannot be replaced there was just lots of destruction.
