I placed my VERY FIRST order 3 days ago that included a small item for $9.97. Naturally the order hasn't arrived yet.
Today I receive an email about a sale COllectionsEtc.com is having. My $9.97 item I ordered happens to be one of the sale items. It is now $5.97.
I do much internet gift buying and this happens fairly often. When it does, I simply call customer service and they happily honor a price adjustment (as does any brick and mortar store - usually within a 7 day period).
Today when I called COllectionsEtc.com (LONG DISTANCE!) and requested a price adjustment, they flat out refused. BOO - bad business!
I know it's only $4- that's not really the issue here. Just really poor business practices. Makes me wonder what it'll be like if I were to have any other issues once my order arrives!
