Rude workers, tries to steal from friends grandmothe

This Salvation Army has got to be the worst thing ever! My friend, her mother, her grandmother and I went to the Salvation Army one night and her grandmother already did not like the store because of how they treated her last time

What happened last time: Grandmother, Mother, and Mothers son went to Target before going to Salvation Army. They bought brand new tennis shoes from Target. After that they decided to go to the Salvation Army to see if they could find some cheap skating pants as the mothers son was an ice skater and he is constantly needing new skating pants to do his practices in... Well Mother's Son decided to put on his new Tennis Shoes after they were done with Target because he really was excited to have him on... He walked into the Salvation Army with the Tennis shoes on. My friends mother wanted him to go try on skating pants the son was always by my friends mother did not leave her sight. Well my friends grandmother was going up to pay for all the stuff and the cashier asked if she was going to buy the shoes that the little boy had on his feet. My friends grandmother laughed and was like no dear i bought those at Target the cashier sat there and argued with her and said that she saw the little boy over by the shoes messing around with them and saw the boy take off his old tennis shoes and put on the brand new tennis shoes that they recieved today... My friends grandmother was so upset (and she does not get over things very easily) She finally proved the cashier wrong by showing her the reciept for the shoes they purchased at Target but the Cashier refused to look at the reciept She didnt even appologize...

Before I begin I must have to say... Why would a thrift store have brand new pair of tennis shoes... Ok yes I do know that some thrift stores get them from some department stores but not this one. They never get anything new its all hand-me-downs...

Ok on with the story so we go there last month all 4 of us and I found these pair of jeans that I thought were cute and I wanted to try them on... Well it was 7:20 and I guess they close the dressing rooms down at 7:30 and the door was locked i asked the cashier for the key and she would not give it to me she would not let me in because the dressing rooms are closed at 7:30 and dont close the store till 8:00?? Kind of wierd because it is a clothing store for the most part and I'm pretty sure when you sell clothes people would like to try them on... But whatever I got over it fast I guess they weren't going to get my $6.00 for the cheap jeans anyways (laughs)
Well my friend Shannon found this really nice Michael Jordan T-shirt that was very unique. And if you knew my friend shannon you would know that she is completely obsessed with Michael Jordan and will do spend as much money possible on any item that has a Michael Jordan icon on it. Well the shirt didnt have a price tag on it but she was like that's ok they'll just give me a price when i go up there I dont care how much it is WRONG! They refused to sell the shirt to her! We were up at the front counter offering them $10.00 for the shirt when really im sure it was $2.99 or something around that price. They still refused to sell it to her because there was no price tag on the shirt... Now tell me if I'm wrong and I welcome constructive critisim (dont know if i spelled that right) but anyways isnt the point of the Salvation Army to sell their clothes that are given to them FREE from the public? And they aren't willing to even take $10.00 for a shirt that someone really wanted just because there wasnt a price tag on the shirt? Heck they could've walked out there that night with a bonus check with what we were offering them (laughs again) Anyways so the cashier tells us that the shirt has to be brought back to the back and re-priced and it could take 2 weeks before its brought back to be for sale again... (which is a little rediculous) My friends mother asks the cashier if maybe when the shirt comes back if she could call the grandmother who lives in Butler and she could come pick up the shirt... The cashier refused... She was very rude too giving us dirty looks raising her voice with us finally we got irrate and left all the stuff we were going to pay for there and decided not to go back

And i just needed this little box to tell you guys what happened and just to warn you of this salvation army store in Butler PA don't waste your money there go to Goodwill!
