In August I was unable to get through to MCI to cancel my service. I called 4 times and was put on hold for each time more than 30 min and once for more than an hour. I sent an e-mail requesting diecontinuation of my service and received no response. When I finally reached them I explained the situation but they took no responsibility for the lack of customer service and insisted that since they didn't "speak" to me until I finally got through a weeks after I actually moved they couldn't discontinue my service retroactively. I am charged for telephone service they can see was not used and they take no reponsibility for being impossible to reach. How can you do business with a company that doesn't answer its phone??
