I purchased a pair of shoes at Easy Spirit Shoe Store #6347 at Citrus Park Town Center, Space 785, Tampa, FL on Sept 20. The shoes purchased cost 79.00 plus tax. I wore them for a total of 7 hours and they hurt my feet more than the cheap shoes that I was previously wearing before the purchase. I tried to return or exchange the shoes on Saturday, Sept. 24th and was refused. The manager of the store would not refund the money because the shoes were worn... How am I suppose to know that these shoes will work with my feet if I don't wear them?
Also, when asked if she would exchange them... Her reply was: "Now that's really pushing it, don't you think?" I'm sorry, but $79.00 for shoes that I can't wear is a BIT MUCH, and the wonderful, CONDESCENDING ATTITUDE of "Miss Manager" put the whole situation over the top... What kind of customer service is this? All of the anchor stores is this mall would gladly exchange or REFUND the money... Is your store special? (even good ole' would have refunded my money!)
