I read this report Rob fromLexington with interest as I too have had an unfortunate encounter with this disreputable firm.
My experience was virutually the same. I asked repeatedly during all phases of discussions (phone or in person) whether there was any cost to me. Up until the end of a lengthy face to face interview I was told NO!
When finally I was asked to provide then with a "Deposit" using the same rational as in the report by Rob from Lexington, I immediately told them I was not interested, and that I felt I had been deceived. I was then quickly escorted out the door.
I sent an email to the initial contact indicating that I was rather upset by their deceptive approach. Further I was contemplating reporting them to the better business bureau. Shortly thereafter I received a phone call from the President, whom I seem to recall was David Eysmann. He assured me this was all a mistake and he apologized profusely.
I indicated that I had taken a vacation day from work and spent $75 to travel into Boston for this and felt I was ripped off.in the end I left it as a poor decision on my part.
However, I have sinced received 3 additional calls from them as both HiPro and BIOShortList. I simply matched the number of the phone call to make the connection.
Stay away from this ripoff artist!
