"My Perfect Credit" aquired Clear Credit. Clear credit was a per use cost. MPC decided they were to charge a monthly fee for membership. I didn't know this until my credit card started having Fraudulent charges from MPC. After doing a search I located the My Perfect Credit web site to find out what these charges were for.
Here I found out that MPC had aquired Clear Credit. I enter the site to find information on canceling this account. I called many times to cancel account, getting no one. I then called my Bankone to file a complaint, they also called MPC again not able to get anyone.
I Contacted MPC by EMail on 3/18 to explain problem. They responded on 3/29 saying account was closed and $19.90 credit will be applied to Credit Card. After Receiving following Credit Card statement I had been in fact credited $19.90 but also charged $ 19.90 after Cancellation was confirmed. I again then Emailed them of addtional problem. Again they confirmed cancellation on 5/16.
I have been getting credits from MPC as late as 7/22 on credit card. I was contacted on 7/22 by 1st Credit of America, a collection agency about $59.95 that MPC has said was unpaid. I have never seen a bill for this, and don't know what its for as they have been crediting my acoount up to last week for prevoius Fraudulent charges. I forwarded responses from MPC to 1stCofA along with copies of credit card statement showing credits. It has been over a week with no resolution.
I also filed complaint with BBB.
