I fell for this scam and began investigating this and other companies like it. The easiest way to do this is to simply input their 800 number in your browser search. You will suddenly discover that wherever that company has ever advertised, it will appear in your search.
Secondly; I spoke with one of the companies and what has been described by others in relation to these companies is entirely true. The addresses for which you mail your information are stores that will rent you mail boxes. The address and suite number is of course really the suite number for the company that rented the company the mail box. The second number such as "115" in this case, is the scammers actual box number.
But if you intend to stop these companies there is only one viable way to do it. Send a copy of your complaint to the Post Office where you live as well as the U.S. Post office where they operate; also to the FBI and the State's Attorney General's Office. Also, include copies of reports that have been posted on this site. If you include these with your complaint, it will help further validate the scams these companies are perpetrating, and it will expedite your claim processing.
