My husband signed up for the "digital Home Plan" and was asked to give his checking account number so the company could withdraw 39.99 for the promotional certificate. My husband was turned down, (we received a letter) but skyboxtv and/or dish network people debit my husband's account for $228.99 for service and equipment we did not get. What worse, they did not have authorization to debit this amount from his account. Now Dishnetwork told us that they could not be responsible for the actions of the retailers selling their systems!!! Skyboxtv does not answer their phone, the only thing I get is a machine telling me to call back later because they are busy. Also one cannot leave a message because their mailbox is full; has been for the last 10 days.
We are now out of $228.99 and it caused our account to be in the negative. The bank charged a service charges as well.
Anyone reading this please be careful do not trust this company. We are in the process of filing a complaint with the attorney general's office, so they can be stopped.
