I purchased a $10.00 phone card to call to the Philippines. It was advertized at 6.5 cents per minute Plus 19 cents connect charge. When I entered my pin, it said I had 2 hours and 2 minutes. 56 minutes into the call, it said I had one (1) minute left. That comes out to about 18 cents per minute. I pay less using AT&T. When I called cust sve they said it was because of the taxes & surcharges. P.S. No, I did not call from a pay phone or to a cell phone. I called from my home to a home phone in the Philippines. What a RIP-OFF!!!
