I placed an order with this Company in November and then canceled it.
They proceded to ship the package any way and I refused the delivery.
Rula from The Snob contacted me and said she would fax me a form to sign in order to receive a refund. This was in December. I responded with the order was canceled and called my credit card and they said not to sign it so I faxed it back stating that. I also mailed a copy to them.
The form and also the emails did not have anything about a restocking fee on them.
Before placing the order I looked at their site and there was nothing about a restocking fee for order cancelations or for returns.
I never received this item and refused delivery of the item.
I disputed the charges on my credit card and was refunded in December.
After December I never heard from Rula from The Snob again.
In April my credit card contacted me stating The Snob is charging me a 20% restocking fee and would charge me over $600.00. The Snob never mentioned a restocking fee in all of our contacts and I never received the item so it was not a return. The order was canceled.
If you have a policy it should be mentioned in all documents and should not be brought up 5 months later. She should not be able to have a hiden policy that can be changed any time they feel like it.
I contacted the Better Business Burea in Jacksonville Florida and they responded once and then I sent a response and they never bothered to reply to it. The BB sent me a letter stating they are not responding and they would keep the complaint on file.
This order was canceled and never was returned being I never took delivery of it. I am requesting a full refund to be credited back to my credit card.
