I am not a bad guy. I just want you fellow model builders out there to have a chance at building a very awesome model kit.
I have been a consumer Advocate on this great web site for about 4 years and I feel that it is time to help my fellow model builders to have a desire at building a very special model kit.
I hope you fellow model builders don't get me wrong on this. I don't feel that AMT/ERTL is a Rip Off. I am posting this so we builders will have a chance to contact them and tell them what we want to buy. I feel that it is a Rip Off that we can't buy the # 8013 International 350 Payhauler right NOW!
Many moons ago AMT / ERTL used to build a model kit called the International 350 Payhauler Dump truck. This kit is so detailed. Many model truck builders want to buy them but It seems that the people at RC2 Corporation do not want to hear what we model builders have to say.
If I could buy this kit right now, I would go to Evers and buy 20 of them RINGHT NOW!
It is a known fact just by all of the complaints on this web site that many big companies in this country do not want to listen to what their customers have to say. Most just do not care. Want proof? Go look at the auto dealer Rip Offs.
I am not saying that AMT/ERTL is a bad company. I am wishing that they would take a second look at what we builders want to collect and build.
Over the many years they have reissued many kits. Look at the list below. But it has been many moons since they have put the # 8013 International 350 Payhauler into production. I also feel that the people at AMT/Ertl that make the decisions as to what kits they are going to reissue don't even build kits as a hobby.
All of the International Truck kits that they have been released to date have been discontinued. Here is a list of the trucks with stock numbers and year they were produced.
