On March the 1st 2005 I recieved a letter from el gordo loteria primitiva. This letter stated that i was a winner of $615,810.00 U. S in this sweepstake lottery program that was held on the 28th of january and with an attached number 025-11-464-992-750 with a serial number 2113-05 which drew the lucky numbers 13-15-16-21-34-36, which consequently won the lottery in the 3rd category.
Of coarse i reacted like any human being at first, but i also had my doubts because when my husband called them, the first thing we heard was that a women answered and inside the conversation there were various of kids crying. She couldn't continued the conversation with my husband because the kids were in the middle of the conversation from their cries.
I have an understanding that when a company is serious there shouldn't be any kids in a office and another weird factor is that I noticed the accent of that person, which wasn't a spanish and had a really terrible english, this person seemed to be nigerian. Another factor was that the paper they sended me wasn't original it was copied in jet ink. The thing that put me motly in doubt was that they started to ask me for $1420 dollars us, to obtain my price and they told me to deposit it by western union in the name of Braco James and the thing that i dont understand is that if a person that wins a lottery, the company of the lottery has to give the winner the money, not the winner to the company, this is very rediculous.
They have ask me for my personal data and my account number which i did gave them by fax and they told me if i didn't send the money, the company Santa Lucia company was not going to give me the price
And thanks to this website i didn't gave them a single cent and finally knew this was a fraud and i really hope that if the Gordo lottery really exists, this company should do something about it becuase this guys are putting this company down. The thing that i don't understand is how the heck they got my name and my adrees. I belief that this guys are using the name of the victims to put them in the letters they send, because i have noticed in the articles i read that they seem to use different names and they also seem to use different phone numbers on different letters but with the same winning numbers, how could this be possible in a lottery, i mean what are the chances of getting the same numbers
