During the second week of January I was contacted by a rep from Spectra Financial Inc. And was offered a $2000 line of credit for a small processing fee. They approaced me through an outside agencey that "found" the proper credit card company for people that were rebuilding their line of credit. The processing fee totaled $550 and in return I was to receive a line of $ with a 0% APR for the first 3 months and then it was to increase to the minimum APR guidlines within my state, also after 6 months the credit line would increase accordingly.
This seemed like an awesome deal for someone in the process relocating and in the need of a sense of security. All of my personal information was released including my DL #, and my SS #, and my banking account information. The withdrawl went through my bank account 1/22/05 for all of the "fees".
As of this date 2/19/05 I have not received my credit card and I have been unable to get any answers from the agency. I need help in figuring out what has happened to my money and my identity, please someone help me. Thank you.
