I submitted a review to shopko.com for a product that I purchased in their Spokane store but they would not post the review and when asked why, they said they forwarded the review to the manufacturer so they could handle the issue directly. Why do they offer the option to review items they carry if they do not post those reviews? How can other customers know about potential issues with their products? Here is my review:
One would think, for $80, the manufacturer would put a removable sticker on the Neu Home 30 Liter Stainless Steel Rectangle Wastecan. The sticker would not pull off in one piece so I tried spraying it down with water and letting it soak, twice. That did not help. Next, I tried methanol but to no avail. I had to use a plastic scraper to avoid damaging the stainless steel to remove the huge sticker plastered across the front, which is not shown in the online product photo. It took me 50 minutes just to scrape off the paper portion of the sticker before I could then use methanol to remove the adhesive. When I spend this kind of money on a trash can, I do not expect to spend over an hour of my time removing the sticker. There are far too many other brands available by manufacturers that consider the consumer's time and efforts by placing removable stickers on their products. I do NOT recommend Neu Home products.
