We made a $49.12 purchase and paid with $100 bill the change was $50.88 we were given some change and a $50 bill. The $50 bill
We are now being investigated because Shopko wont do anything to help us. We are not even asking for any money back only that they acknowledge passing it. They won't review their video despite us having the receipt indicating the exact time and clerk. And I know they video each checkout line.
They basically told us to get lost. So we paid with a good $100 bill they gave us a $50 forged bill back and won't even acknowlege or help investigate this. They asked us to give them the bill and receipt, the only problem with that is the police and FBI have it... So we asked them how can we do that? They said we are basically out of luck.
Its not about the money - its about a corp cutlture that knows there is nothing we as a consumer can do about this and they just got 50.00 richer.
DONT SHOP AT SHOPKO. They are fine until you really need help.
