I interviewed at Toys R Us today. The group interview went well, it was fun. When it came to the personal interview, the employers did not take me seriously. I'm 18 and it was my first real interview. When I told them this, they literally laughed out loud. Not a chuckle, a full on laugh. I fail to see the humor in "This is my first interview." They asked me one question from the sheet and said they would "take a gamble" and hire me.
Needless to say, I will not be working for Toys R Us, and I will not suggest it to anyone else. I had great credentials and a lot of experience working with children and crowds.
I have two jobs that are better than what you are showing me, which isn't much.
I know this is just a location thing, but it's very off-putting.
