Verizon Wireless is all too happy to help when you first walk in the door to consider them for a wireless provider. However, if you need help or assistance: Watch Out!
They have overbilled us by $200 every month and we have to call at least five times to get it cleared up. It's the same mistake every month, you'd think they'd get it straight! I pity those who don't call and get their bill checked out, they're probably way overcharged.
To make matters worse, I spilled a tiny amount of water on my phone when a water bottle was knocked over. This is my fault, yes, but when I went in to see what options I had because the phone said "Service Failure" they typed in the computers that I had damage on my phone and told me I would have to buy a new one for retail price - $269.99 Worse yet, I had to restart this horrible contract for two years.
We tried to cut off our service with Verizon because of horrible customer service and the ridiculous overcharged cell phone bills, but it would cost us over $400 a line. (We have two)
I would like people to know not to choose Verizon Wireless. They're too good to be true when you first go in, but once there's problems there's no one to help. Ever. As soon as this is over, we're going back to Cingular Wireless.
