I went into the Corona store on 11-21-04 and purchased the Tmoble sidekick II. The lady told me it was $350.00 so thats what I paid cash. She turned on the unit programed it, then turned it off and put it back into the box for me and I left. She failed to give me a reciept at that time of purchase.
I got home after work to show my wife, she opened the box only to find the screen ink was broken. Not even a hair line scratch on the outside, just inside the screen.
So we took the until back up to the store the next day due to they were closed that night. Another lady pulled out the reciept from the trash and gave it to us witch showed we paid only $325.00. So our question what happened with the other $25.00? They didnt know. Then we asked that they would return the unit or give us a new one. They said we would have to call Mike Fertillo.
We did call him numorus times and tried to get a hold of both Tmoble and Laser communications but nobody will do anything. We also found out from another Tmoble store that the until is only $250.00 with a $50.00 mail in rebate.
Come to find out there is a difference. There is direct and indirect salers. If you go to an indirect they can charge you whatever they want to. I guess also sale you broken murchandise and thats ok too.indirect can make their own rules while direct have to go by what corporate tells them.
It is now the 23rd and we still have this broken unit that we paid $350.00 for. We still have not got any response from any companys or from Mike himself.
