I received my Verizon phone bill yesterday and on it I saw charges of $15.41 for Privasafe E-Mail Service bill through OAN Services Inc. This is a totally bogus charge as I never even heard of either of these companies let alone do business with them. I emailed OAN to straighten this matter out but I have had no reponse.
Verizon told me that they placed the charges on my bill as a "convience" to me and were not authorized to remove them. I did a Google search on OAN, that's now I ended up here. Needless to say I was surprised that OAN has such a record of false billing practices and no agency has stopped them.
