Pipe LT Caveat Emptor: Incomplete Proposal, Expensive Repai

Caveat emptor = let the buyer beware.

We thought we were educated consumers of plumbing line repair services, but when the proposal for sewer repairs was received, we learned that only part of the sewer system was evaluated therefore we couldn't get a complete picture of repairs needed. Several hundreds of dollars for a partial picture of underground piping and necessary repairs is unacceptable.

Despite numerous attempts to obtain more information from management and a complete analysis of problems, it has become apparent that we're on our own now that the service provider got paid for the evaluation and 1 day on the job.

Price quoted for comprehensive repairs was more than 4x comparable providers quoted.
