On 9-2-04 I ordered a jacket from Just-Leather. After not hearing anything for a week, I tried contacting them to cancel my order. No one responded. I left 5 voice messages at two different numbers, and sent 6 emails asking to cancel the order. Finally, after threatening to file a complaint, they emailed me on 9-27 stating that the jacket was at the Fedex terminal. They gave me a tracking number. The number was bogus. They didn't take it to Fedex. I complained more.
On 9-30 I was promised BY THE OWNER that the jacket would arrive that day, that he had spoken to Fedex. He promised me a $100 coupon PLUS full refund on the jacket if it didn't show up. It didn't. Got an email later that day stating that they had 2 pallets of freight damaged at Fedex. Said he was reshipping via post office. On 10-1-04 I received an email stating that the jacket had shipped. They gave me a tracking number (which again didn't work). However, a jacket did arrive 3 days later. It was the wrong size from what I ordered. I contacted them about this, and was promised that they would IMMEDIATELY ship the correct size and have a pickup order issued for the wrong size one. That is the last i have heard from them.
I am planning on file a claim back on my credit card for FULL reimbursement for this jacket, and I am also filing a fraud complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.
This company has the worst customer server (or dis-service) that I have ever run across. I will never do business with them again, and am urging all my friends to do likewise.
