I ordered from what I thought was a Coach Outlet store. The item ordered was a silver Coach tote bag. When I received the purse it was a completely different model silver Coach purse.
Some of the embossing on the leather was off, so I investigated and found out it was a counterfeit purse.
Meanwhile, I sent an email letting them know that I received the wrong model. They asked me to send a photo of the model I received. I did so.
They then said they would have to check with their shipping company. They said it was an error with the shipper and that I could send it back and receive a $20 credit on my next order. Shipping cost to send it back to China would cost $47.95. I said it was unacceptable for me to pay shipping for an error on their part.
They refused to budge, so I resolved it by calling my credit card company, who filed a dispute.
From searching the RIP OFF website, it appears this is the standard practice with their business.
I also filed a counterfeit claim with Coach.com.
