I ordered a trial supply of Giavonie Skin cream as advertised for $4.95. The web page states as follows: "You must pay a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 for us to send you a 30 day trial supply of Giavonie Anti-Aging System. All orders are processed within 24 hours (except that orders placed Saturday-Sunday will be shipped the following Monday). We consider the end date for your trial period to be 12 days after you place your order. If you are unhappy with the product at any time during those 12 days, you must call us at 1.800.511.6609 or email us and cancel your order to avoid being billed for the cost of the product.
If you are satisfied with our product, then do nothing-we will bill you for your initial order, and every thirty days after your initial order we will send you a new 30-day supply of our product, and automatically bill you the low price of $89.95. All charges will appear as "Giavonie" on your credit card statement. To cancel automatic delivery and billing, call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1.800.511.6609 or email us at any time."
Giavonie charged my credit card for $4.95 and never send the product to me. On the 11th day, I sent an e-mail to cancel my order, ask refund of my $4.95 since they do not send me the product, and ask for a written response. On the 12th day, I also call the 1.800.511.6609 and left a voice message with the same content as my e-mail. I have included the order number in both the e-mail and the voice mail. With no reponse from Giavonie, three days later, I sent another e-mail asking for response. And they have never responsed.
Today I found out that they charged my credit card for another $89.95, which I have already cancelled both by e-mail and by phone within 12days as required. They do not hornor their terms, continue charge my credit card without providing any products and even after I have cancelled the order. Their so called 24/7 1-800 number is only a machine answering the calls and put you to voice mail. Be very aware of the scam by this company!
