I had two bad expriences with ESTY this holiday season. First episode was with a shop called Curious Trifles. The seller is very misleading when listing items just so he can make a sale. He put dimensions for earrings to make them look bigger then they are and then tels you it was a mistake. Also this seler never disclosed that the earrings were missing a back. When questioned he saiid he did not know that backs were part of earrings. I find this very funny because he claims he has sold thousands of jewelry pieces. He did offer refund but I wanted my return shipping because of his false listing. The second episode was with a shop called BroughtBackToYou. I ordered two pairs of gold earrings from this seller. The first pair was okay but the second pair had a hole in it and the seam was ripping which could only be seen with a loupe. I contacted seller as soon as i got the earrings and told her of the problem. I requested a return including my shipping. I also went back to her listing to see how I missed the hole in that one earring. Sure enough i could see the hole in the picture but it looked like a shadow if you are just lokking at it. I did keep one pair out of the two. I received a credit but not full. I left negative feedback to warn out buyers. The seller then left me false fedback stating I damaged her items. I contacted Esty to make her remove that statement but they have not done anything about it. Esty does nothingto help out the buyers. I assure you this would never happen on Ebay. I know because I am a big time seller and buyer on ebay and they have great customer service and they hold their sellers to higher standards. Charlotte
