Esty came to me asking for private personal information to review my shop which has been on esty for three years. They asked for receipts for the materials I bought, photos of my workspace, who my photographer was (that would be me) pictures of my designs, as well as a photo log of my making my jewlery. All of which I provided them with and then they told me they were not sure I made the pieces so they shut down my shop after my sending them all this personal and trademark secret information. They would nnot come to my studio to see me make a piece in person and did their review via unencrypted emails I spoke with no one person but several persons and they did not seem to be any real focus on following what I was telling them from one person to the other. After what I have been threw I am considering taking esty to small claims court for damages to my brand since I do make my merchandise. Howver the real issue here is the lack of professionalism in the review and the fact that they are asking for things that clearly violate privacy laws on the internet and I think the FCC should look into esty practices.
