About three and a half months ago I ordered a free credit report form consumerinfo.com. The company claimed to be free which it was at first tell they needed what I believe to have been a ten dollar fee for a credit score. When I was finished i cancelled my account with consumer info.
Since then I have received two fees of 9.95. The first time I received the fee I went back to consumer info and I wrote them on how could I cancel my account seeing how I had done so before and it didnt work.
Every time that I wrote consumer info they gave my the same exact letter back that they did in the past. The letter pretty much said to cancel your account you must first put your user name and password in and click on cancel account. I had attempted to do so multiple times. Every time it said user name is invalid or password invalid so I preceded on trying to contact them and always got the same response.
