She is the link between all the clown camps

Aurora Krause, Bebop the clown in TX was executive committe member president 11, for World Clown Association a non profit. During this time she has been a teacher at California clowncampin.org. There has been several clown camps, that have been connected with this clown association. La cross, she was a teacher for 5 years before when the past president of WCA, held this camp. She also taught at New york Goofs, Red Skelton school, and has had some link to Moosebuger camp also. California CLOWN Camp is were she has taught past few years. California Clown camp says they are a Not for profit, yet I can not find them on Guide STAR. New york GOOFS, are in TX, with her and again I can not find them in TX or New York as a non profit. Moosebuger is a for profit business. Here is were the problem comes in, lets say California Clown Campin is a not for profit. People pay 1000 dollars to go they say to a camp that promotes the arts in clown work. Then why are they having dealers rooms. They all do this. Volunteers are required to work without compensation. I happen to no many clowns and they make their living as clowns. None of them have magic stores, facepaintstores were they sell suppies, travel agent stores or costume stores. They promote the art of clown work by the work and not sale of vendor goods. Gigmasters.com is linked to many of these camps. I am all for clown camps to promote the art of clown work, I am not for clown camps that have back of the room sales for the good of the volunteers. Also I totally think Clown Associations should not have access to people interesed in clown work to direct them to a school that they benefit from. I am not an attorney and I say all this in good faith, but it all looks like a big rip off to me. Someone needs to take a hard look at this situation. Also how they treat them as employees with control on the work for a week, when they are not employees.
