I have read many reviews about Stub Hub buyers and scams. I am a season ticket holder for my local Baseball team and use Stub Hub to sell all the tickets I cannot use. The service works for me, every time, without fail. When I list my tickets for sale they are sent electronically from my season ticket holder account; it automatically feeds Stub Hub my Row Number, Seat Numbers, and Date of the event. I CANNOT MODIFY this (which is a good thing). However, I can see how many people have been scammed by untruthful sellers. Be cautious about the tickets you are about to purchase. When browsing for tickets always look for tickets that are available for instant download; tickets that have to be mailed are more likely to be fake. Another thing, verify the Seat or Row actually exists. I have found that some sellers list tickets in Rows THAT DO NOT EXIST. Tickets listed on Stub Hub usually use Row 5 or Row 17; fake sellers sometimes put "3rd" or "5th". Stub Hub has accurate maps (that can be zoomed in to see each and every row) for most venues.in my case there are certain sections of the stadium that do not start at row 1. Some sellers are manually inputting FAKE row numbers to encourage people to buy their tickets first. Those of us with authentic tickets either send them electronically from our season ticket holder account or use the bar code number to ensure the ticket is listed accurately. Be careful what you choose to buy and learn the warning signs of a potentially shady deal. Stub Hub shouldn't be blamed for this, its the crooked sellers that have sold you a bad ticket not Stub Hub. And do remember that all sellers are required to have a valid credit card listed on their account. Good Luck!
