While visiting Mohegan Sun Casino on May 3 I used a Global Cash ATM machine but the machine failed to dispense the cash and displayed a message that the transaction was cancelled and my bank account would not be charged. I tried the transaction again but the Global ATM then displayed a message that my daily limit had been reached whcih I knew was not true. I checked my bank account today May 4 only to learn my account had been charged for the transaction that was supposedly cancelled. I have contacted my bank, the casino, and Global Cash ATM and was told to file an Regulation E Form to have my bank and Global cash investigate. After taking several hours and numerous telephone calls to my bank I think that process has been initiated. Quite hoestly it has been a very frustrating experience and the first time I have experienced this at the Casino. I will no longer use the Global Cash ATM's at Mohegan Sun or anywhere else they exist. Looking at the web I see many other similar reports reporting incidents like this at Mohegan and the Global ATM Syetms. The process to get this corrected should be easier. I'm sure the ATM folks know very well when a machine malfunctions. I also see that not all situations like this get resolved equitably. There should be some very clear warnings to consumers that Global ATM Cash machine can and do rip you off.
