I called and set up an event for my sons deployment into the Marines, I went down to the office at 6 McLaren suite M in Irvine, I was asked to make a deposit of half of the rental which was a total of 570.00 the total rental was going to be over 1100.00 (yes that is eleven hundred dollars)
When I arrived at the office, the front door was locked and no one around so i saw a guy outside of another suite right next to them. He said that no one was there, i had told him that i was there to put a deposit down on the rental, I had asked him if David was there (wing nut) he said no that he was in a meeting. At that time i started to get back into my car then the same guy walked up and said "oh i made a mistake there is someone in this other office" At that time i get a call from David telling me some story about how i could go into the other office and leave the money with them and for me to make sure i get a receipt. Well i gave the guy 570.00 against my better judgement all i smelled was scam I get a receipt with no company name nothing just something he typed in front of me on "word". I left not feeling comfortable with the whole thing.
Two days letter i read on the internet that they didn't show up to a 5 year olds party so i was going to contact Boomers events when what do you know i get a call from them saying i needed to pay the balance before my event which was Sunday. I expressed to the girl on the phone my concerns with what i read on the internet she said that she would have "david" contact me. Well David contacted me and I had told him that i didn't feel right with payi8ng the whole thing upfront especially after what i read on the internet. I did tell him that i felt that since he already got half the money upfront in cash that once they showed up to the event on Sunday i would pay the balance after all if they were to show up and i wasn't there they already had half the money they had nothing to loose but if i paid them in full upfront and they didn't show up im out all the money.
That's when wing nut David went off, trying to give me the song and dance about how what i read on the internet was not right he knew nothing about that only to later in the conversation admit that it did happen, along with other problems that happened to other people. Thats when i had said my point exactly. Why would i want to pay the balance before they showed up. Not to mention that the guys in the other office had told me " we aren't part of boomers " which by the way David had said that they were, HUMM sounds fishy along with David telling me that they rented that office space also. Don't you think his employees would know that info? So on the phone david kept yelling at me "are you going to pay the balance or not" also telling me that if i didn't he wouldn't show up and i wouldn't get my 570.00 deposit back, Yep that made me really want to run back and hand him another 570.00. NOT!
So after over ten minutes of " i don't know who he is and i messed with the wrong fat guy garbage, I asked him for my money back, Ill let you figure out what happened then, After all you don't have to be a rocket scientist for that one. Then i get a call about ten minutes later where he says he will refund my money to me and never contact him again (like i would). Well I'm not counting on getting the refund even though he claims he put it in the mail (yea right). But if for some reason i do get the refund i will update this, if you don't see an update, well you guessed it I got screwed. I would not use these guys for any reason if i were you and another thing they have multiple address's one at 53180 Odyssey St in good old lake Elsinore and one for 21906 Haron Lane in Lake forest neither of them are his locations. Watch out for this guy he is a pure piece of work.
