I went to blockbuster to look for a movie no one else had. I found a few i wanted to purchase and went up to the counter. The employee got my membership information and then informed me I had late fees. That couldn't of been, because I had only rented once before and it has like a year ago. She said my balance was $3.27 or something like that, and said I couldn;t rent until I paid the fee. I asked to to tell me what it was for, but she said she didn't know. She said the history did go back taht far and show what movie was late.

If you don't even have proof to what the fee is for you shouldn't charge the customer. It's not good business. Well, after i threw a fit, and she consulted with another employee, she came back and said, I guess I can forgive the fees, since it's such a minuscule amount. She didn't remove the charge because she had no proof, but because it was so small?

Poor business ethics. That's why I stay away from all blockbusters, and either rent from the few remaining smaller chains and family owned video stores, or just go buy the movie at the store.
