Rob Mercier at signaturesnet.com, LiveNation, Fanfire and Signaturesnet ripoff for Sting VIP Concert Merchandise

On May 3, for a friend's birthday, I bought Sting concert tickets starting from the official Sting web site (www.sting.com). The tickets were advertised as part of a special VIP promo of assorted merchandise, and tickets cost $300 each, while regular tickets in the PIT section of the venue were running $157 $23 fee. I waited several weeks and received nothing (the concert wasn't until July 10), but then initially called the concert venue trying to figure out if I would pick up the items when I picked up my tickets at will call. I was transferred around various times, then was told I would need to call Ticketmaster since the venue in Camden, NJ, had no instructions on merchandise (see www.ticketmaster.com/promo/cxh6e3? Ac_link=sting10_artist_mod_vip&wr. Mc_id sting10_artist_mod_vip). They were nice about the whole thing, but they said that I would have to contact a company called "Fanfire" to figure out the status of my order. I emailed them on May 24, and got a response from "Karin" who informed me, "The merchandise is currently being designed and produced. It will be sent out during the tour upon its completion. Thank you for your patience." About two weeks prior to the concert I contacted them again, but was told that sometimes the merchandise ships after the concert. So, I waited some more. Finally, on July 12, I send another email to Fanfire and got an email from Rob Mecier ([email protected]) who told me that they would be receiving the Sting VIP packages in the "next week or so" at which time they would be immediately shipped to customers. Yesterday, I tried to email Rob to simply ask for a refund for the difference between the actual cost of my two tickets and the VIP package ($240 total), but the email bounced back undeliverable. I resent the same email to [email protected], but have not yet received a response. Today, I started checking into it a little more online and found usacomplaints.com from various people throughout the U.S. It sounds like it's time to take some legal action.
