I responded to an add in local paper with toll-free number to call for "casting calls" in my area. Was told by phone to submit credit card and a portfolio would be mailed to me. "Portfolio" was cheap, had typos, and obviously was not from a reputable company. When I called back to cancel, I was referred to another number, which only had voicemail. I missed the "cutoff" for the free trial because of this, and now have a charge for $60 on my card for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
