On 7/15/09 we went to this location to obtain show tickets. We were charged $129.60 for two tickets to the Phantom ($59.80 for each ticket plus $5 service charge per ticket). What you really get is a voucher that you turn in at the Phantom box office that you exchange for tickets. The fast talking cashier had us sign the credit card charge and handed us the voucher for the tickets.
When we arrived at the Phantom box office they told us that we needed TWO vouchers (one for each ticket). My husband rushed back to Tix 4 Tonight with the receipt for the $129.60 and told them they had shorted us one voucher. They disputed that claim, stating that it was impossible to print just one voucher since we had been charged for two. I pointed out that it was entirely possible that the clerk printed out two vouchers, but I was positive she had only given us one. The manager said she would call the Phantom box office to request their permission to print another voucher. The manager came back and said that the Phantom box office refused.
We then went to the Phantom box office and explained the situation to the manager of the Phantom box office. The Phantom manager said of course they would accept a reprinted voucher and even called Tix 4 Tonight to request they fax a copy of the voucher to her. Tix 4 Tonight refused. We were forced to purchase another ticket. Kudos to the Phantom box office manager for being nice enough to sell us the ticket at a significant discount!
If you use this company to buy discount Vegas show tickets make sure you receive a separate voucher for each ticket you buy! Double check everything before leaving the ticket counter!!
