On April 4 I purchased a vacation package for my fiance and I in Vegas through Orbitz. My package came with 2 free ticket to a circe du soliel show. After printing my vouchers I noticed on the voucher that you had to book the show in order to receive your ticket before April 5 (not even 24 hours to obtain the tickets). I visited the website to where I was supposed to book the show, but the link to book was not available. I then called orbitz customer service to receive help in booking the show. The representative I spoke to told me that I did not need to book the show, but to just show up at the ticket box with the voucher. I knew that what he said didn't seem right but I trusted his advice. Yesterday July 6 I called the hotel in which I will be staying during my trip the confirm everything. I also mentioned the show and when to pick up the tickets. The hotel then told me that I would need to call Orbitz. The first person I talked to was unable to help so I was transfered to a supervisor. I explained what happened to the supervisor and he told me that there was no PROOF or documentation of what the agent told me in April so he would not give me the tickets. First off, everything was booked that night except the shows. I would have no reason to call Orbitz except for about the shows. Then he tells me that he could see phone records where I did call but the agent did not document our conversation. REALLY!!! He eventuall offered me 2 vouchers (with Orbitz's vouchers you must first purchase what you would like out of you pocket, then email voucher numbers, copies of you trip details, and ect.) that did not even cover half of the price!!! I talked to several other people after that and the issue never got resolved.
