I ordered DirecTV online on Monday. Tuesday it was installed. I paid a $200 setup fee. Eight hours after the service was activated, it was suspended.
I live in an RV park. I moved into my mother's former space after she left. She had DirecTV before. They claim she owes $500. I am now responsible for that debt because I live here, am related to her, and had mail sent here in the past. They will not reinstate my service until I pay her debt! How is that fair? How is it legal?
And my $200 is apparently non-refundable. So I paid $200 for eight hours of cable. That's expensive. Can anyone help?
