I rented 2 DVDs and purchased 3 VHS movies, when I got home none of them worked. The DVDs were all scratched and the tapes were broken. I went back the same night to get a refund but the man wouldn't let me in he rudley said "We're closed". I went back the next day to get a refund and the girl Stacey told me there were no refunds but I could get the same movies, they didn't have the same movies they only had one of each and I had them. I said again I want a refund. I looked around the store for a no refund sign and there wasn't one. She said it says it on the receipt. I read the receipt and it doesn't say no refunds anywhere on it so I asked again for a refund. She called the owner, I explained to the owner that I was not coming back so a I couldn't use a credit and that when I got the movies I was never told that there were no refunds. She was rude and nasty and told me I would only get a credt and I had to leave because the store was closing. I then asked the girl to write it on a receipt because now I had no trust for the company. She refused and called the owner again. The owner told her to write "Deirdre Jones has 2 weeks February 16 to use her credit". The girl looks up at me and says " the owner says if you don't leave now I'm calling the police". I have now been discriminated against because she gave me nly two weeks to use my credit and every other customer has no time limit. I've been robbed from and received nothing in return for my money because I'm never stpping foot in that place again. I want my refund and an apology for the way that I was treated.
