The best casino in California - Valley Center, San Diego

We have visited just about all the casinos within an hour of San Diego and we have done the Vegas weekend many times but we have never had a better meal, met a friendlier staff or won as consistently as we did at Valley View.
The buffet would have cost us about 20 bucks a head but we got that free. We ate until we were set to explode. They had Sushi being rolled by Japanese sushi chefs right at the buffet. The prime rib at the carvery was unbelievably good, the Chinese food was great and we ate way too many desserts. What really amazed us was the fact that the chef came to our table to make sure our food was up to standard. I have been to a hundred different buffets but that was a first.
The Casino doesn't have too many different table games and I didnt see poker but we mostly play slots so that was OK.
We started with $50 and the two of us played for two hours on that which was OK by me. Normally $50 gives us 20 minutes elsewhere.
